Optimus Template

While still living in Ontario in my early thirties, I lost my canine baby tooth and had a temporary denture made to replace my missing tooth. As it was an obvious front tooth, this was an incredibly embarrassing and uncomfortable solution and more times than not I would simply not wear my denture and became very good at hiding my smile. I am also a singer and a performer yet it was nearly impossible to be able to sing properly with this piece of plastic stuck to the roof of my mouth!

I met Dr. Menard shortly after moving back to Quebec, and spoke with him about my situation and he offered to make a temporary fixed bridge out of white filling material for me. It was a bridge that wrapped around my natural teeth. The results were drastic and beautiful. Dr. Menard had given me the most beautiful smile I ever had, even slightly improving on the shape of my natural remaining teeth. He was able to match the colour and shape perfectly to give me a beautifully balanced and even smile. I was able to smile freely again and in fact couldn’t help but do so because I was so incredibly pleased with the results. I am now able to sing and perform without hesitation and my confidence has reached an all time high.

Dr. Menard made it clear however that this solution was not long term, but it offered me the time to reflect on a better solution and also gave me time to save the funds required to complete the treatment. I am now planning on having an implant done to permanently replace my missing tooth and to keep my smile healthy and beautiful.
